Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton held a Diabetes and Cardio Health Fair Oct. 17.
TRICARE beneficiaries with diabetes or who thought they may have diabetes or high cholesterol met with physicians and healthcare professionals to discuss their health concerns. Screenings for diabetes and high cholesterol were also available.
Healthcare professionals from population health management, internal medicine, family medicine, smoking cessation, immunizations, nutrition, physical therapy, patient education and the pharmacy were available to answer questions and provide information.
